Milner, who has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as one of the most innovative and influential minds in the world on aging-related topics, launched ICAA in 2001 to emphasize an approach to aging that supports healthier, fuller and more vibrant lives. His keynote address, entitled “Live Bold – Not Old,” will explore how a “quality-of-life revolution” is transforming the way we age.

“There is now a growing sentiment in society that age is just a number,” said Milner. “Backed by decades of research, the opportunity to embrace our potential has never been higher.”

Milner’s keynote address, held on Tuesday, September 22 at 7 pm in the Keenan Center at Still Hopes, is free and open to the public. Seating is limited; doors open at 6 pm. His speech is the centerpiece of Thrive Week, which is four days of activities, fun, food, education and inspiration to celebrate the trends that are changing the way we age.

Thrive Week at Still Hopes kicks off with an Active Living Fair on Sunday, September 20th from 1 pm to 4 pm.
