September 2, 2012

GREENVILLE, SC – August 4, 2012 – Maria Meinke, Co-Owner of CossBan Software & Networking is announcing the opening of a new chapter of Business & Professional Women of SC.  As President of the new BPW Greenville and small business owner, she believes it is important the BPW to expand and promote women in the work place for equal pay, for work/life balance and for serving as an example to young women in today’s business world.

The BPW provides students with scholarships and young women with career awards. It is an excellent avenue for networking with other women through meetings, workshops and presentations to better job performance and communication skills.

The BPW Mission Statement is to achieve equality for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. The objectives are to elevate the standards of women in business and in the professions; to promote interest of business and professional women; to bring about a spirit of cooperation among business and professional women and to extend opportunities to business and professional women through education along the lines of industrial, scientific and vocational activities.

This group will be meeting monthly and then some for workshops and networking. Call 864-871-3314 Maria Meinke for more information or email [email protected] for more information.
