Introducing Cingo: The new name for 40-year-old Allgood Pest Solutions
March 1, 2017Allgood Pest Solutions has a new name: Cingo.
The company has done business in Charleston as Allgood Pest Solutions since 2012 Only the name is changing — the experience built during those years, the commitment to customers and the leadership by Charleston general manager Hunter Beall remain the same.
“Being part of a growing company in a growing town is a terrific opportunity for us all,” says Beall, who has led the Charleston branch of the Dublin, GA-based company since 2015. “Soon everyone will start to see the name Cingo around Charleston, and that’s exciting.”
The name change is a natural step in the growth of the business, which expanded in Georgia through the acquisition of local, family-owned pest control companies. The company employs 6 people in its Charleston-area office, and plans to expand.
Since 1993, it has been one of two company’s operating under the Allgood name. While family connections link the two companies, they have always operated as separate organizations. That’s confusing, especially now that the Duluth, GA-based company is owned by Rentokil Initial, based in Camberley, United Kingdom. Cingo will initially operate in Allgood’s existing markets in middle and south Georgia, Augusta, Savannah and Charleston, SC.
Why the name Cingo? It’s a word that means to surround and secure, and that represents the foundation of the company’s commitment to protect families from every single pest. It also represents new opportunity for the company and team members.
“With Cingo, we‘ve given our team their own company name,” said Lanny Allgood, who has led the company as CEO for the past 10 years. “There is exciting opportunity ahead for us all.”
Pest control companies are vital in ensuring homes and businesses remain safe and healthy. With the rise of urbanization, the demand for effective pest control services has increased. Whether dealing with termites, ants, or rodents, these professionals are equipped with the right tools and knowledge to tackle infestations.
One of the more pressing concerns for homeowners is mosquito control, particularly in regions where the climate creates the perfect breeding grounds for these pests. For those looking for a reliable mosquito company in Atlanta, finding a provider with specialized treatments can significantly reduce the risk of mosquito-borne diseases.
Effective pest management goes beyond just eliminating pests; it’s about creating long-term solutions that prevent future problems. By choosing a reputable company, customers can trust that their properties will be protected while ensuring the safety of their families, pets, and the environment.
