‘Iris’ Over the Upstate: Goo Goo Dolls Bring Summer 2026 Tour to Simpsonville
June 10, 2026Multi-platinum alternative rock legends the Goo Goo Dolls are set to bring their massive “Summer 2026” U.S. tour to the Upstate later this season.
The Grammy-nominated duo will take the stage at the CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The highly anticipated evening of outdoor music is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Frontman John Rzeznik and bassist Robby Takac are hitting the road on a 26-city nationwide trek that highlights their enduring catalog of radio anthems. Fans can expect a setlist packed with the band’s era-defining ’90s and 2000s hits—including “Slide,” “Black Balloon,” “Name,” and their record-breaking masterpiece, “Iris”—alongside deeper cuts and newer selections from their recent Summer Anthem release.
Adding to the star power of the late-summer bill, the Goo Goo Dolls will be joined by special guest Neon Trees. The multi-platinum pop-rockers, famous for their infectious chart-toppers “Everybody Talks” and “Animal,” are tapped as the official tour openers and promise to kick the night off with a high-energy performance.
The Simpsonville stop marks one of the final dates of the band’s extensive summer amphitheater run, making it a premier live music highlight for local concertgoers before the autumn transition.
