JacksonBuilt Custom Homes honored with four PRISM Awards

November 14, 2019

JacksonBuilt Custom Homes was awarded four PRISM Awards by the Charleston Home Builders Association, including a coveted Customer Service Award. At the Nov. 1 awards ceremony, the JacksonBuilt team also accepted three honors for projects in the single-family home category.

Originated in 1988, the PRISM Awards recognize excellence in the marketing and promotion of new homes and in various segments of the housing industry, including the outstanding work of custom builders, remodelers, contractors, and home sales representatives.

The Customer Service Award is based on online reviews from customers posted on sites like Houzz, Google and GuildQuality.

“The Customer Service Award is incredibly special for our team,” said Richard Jackson, owner and president of JacksonBuilt Custom Homes. “We pride ourselves on offering outstanding service to our clients, so to be recognized by the industry for our efforts is truly an honor.”

JacksonBuilt Custom Homes also won three awards in the single-family home category:

$1 million-$1.25 million: JacksonBuilt won for a custom home in Mount Pleasant’s Carolina Park. This classic farmhouse with more than 3,000 square feet of living space has plenty of modern-day flair. The open kitchen, dining and family room create space for seamless entertaining, and a flex space just off the family room is perfect for a home office, playroom or art studio. The first floor has a spacious master suite, mudroom and laundry room. Three additional bedrooms are located on the second floor, each with its own bathroom. The finished room above the garage is accessible by a breezeway, giving guests some privacy.

$1.5 million-$1.75 million: The winner in this category was a 4,020-square-foot Daniel Island home with classic southern architecture and plenty of curb appeal. The vaulted kitchen has reclaimed beams and a cement tile wall as well as a spacious pantry, casement windows that open from the kitchen to an outdoor kitchen and a custom bar. The family room features large sliding doors that open to a pool, and the courtyard design provides seamless indoor/outdoor living with a custom outdoor kitchen, fireplace and pool.

$3.25 million-$3.5 million: JacksonBuilt won for an almost 5,000-square-foot waterfront home with a private dock. Located on Daniel Island, this home has a vaulted kitchen with built-in banquette and custom dining table, dramatic three-story stairwell “tower” feature and a study with custom cabinetry. The exterior was designed to embrace outdoor living, with a porch that stretches the length of the house, outdoor kitchen and fireplace, and custom pool with a spa overlooking the Wando River.

Founded in 2009 on Daniel Island, JacksonBuilt Custom Homes has been honored with multiple PRISM Awards over the years as well as “best of” honors for design and customer service by Houzz. JacksonBuilt has also been recognized by GuildQuality, a third-party surveying company, with the Guildmaster Award for outstanding customer service.
