James F. Martin Inn completes renovations in time for football season

CLEMSON, SC — The Clemson University James F. Martin Inn recently finished renovating its 89 guest rooms. The inn, connected to the Madren Conference Center and the Walker Golf course, has been a favorite among Clemson visitors since 1998.
Renovations to the inn include new flooring, paint, lighting, furniture and marble surround showers to replace the existing bathtubs. Each room is also now complete with a 50-inch TV and better wireless service. New decorations feature a “Clemson pride” theme.
“We hope the renovation and upgrades of our 89 guest rooms will enhance our guests’ experience when staying at the inn,” said Sharon Franks, the general manager of the Martin Inn.
“We strive to provide our guests a quaint inn ambiance with a touch of ‘Clemson class.’ When our guests are happy, we are happy,” she said.
In addition to its 89 rooms, the Martin Inn offers hospitality and bridal suites, as well as a fitness room. Guests are also able to enjoy tennis courts, a seasonal outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant with complimentary continental breakfast.
