Jane Downey, MBM Partner, named to leading U.S. Bankruptcy and Restructuring Lawyers listing

Jane H. Downey, Partner at Moore Bradley Myers (MBM), has been named as one of the 2022 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy and Restructuring Lawyers. Downey is selected as one of the 500 honorees through submissions, journalistic research and editorial vetting from a board of peers and clients.

Launched in 2005, Lawdragon is a legal media company that features news, editorial features, and a variety of guides to the nation’s top legal professionals who lead in a particular practice area or industry and who have handled significant matters within the past years.

Jane practices primarily in bankruptcy and debtor/creditor law. Jane is certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a specialist in bankruptcy and debtor/creditor law. She also is certified as a mediator and arbitrator by the South Carolina Supreme Court and as a mediator by the South Carolina District Court.

With the highest level of AV-rated peer review from Martindale-Hubbell, Jane also serves as a Board Member of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), serves as the Past-Chair of the IWIRC’s Carolina Network and was recently named to the Board of Directors for Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) by the American Bankruptcy Institute.
