Jared L. Slovan DMD Elected to Wounded Nature – Working Veterans Board of Directors

MT. PLEASANT, SC – April 13, 2012 – Jared L. Slovan, DMD, has been elected to serve on the Wounded Nature – Working Veterans’ board of directors.
Wounded Nature – Working Veterans is a Charleston, SC based non-profit that will have 5 houseboats moving up and down the East Coast cleaning beaches, visiting military bases, and attending port festivals. Each vessel will re pr esent one of the branches of the military. Each vessel will have its own sponsor and be branded by the sponsor with both their brand and that of the military branch that boat represents. Wounded Nature – Working Veterans is the only organization utilizing veterans and water based vessels to clean up the environment and educate the public on a year round basis. Wounded Nature is working to make the East Coast the Clean Coast.
Jared L. Slovan DMD states “ Charleston is many things, a military town, popular tourist attraction, but most of all it is a water town. As a husband, father and conservationist, it is important to me that we keep our waterways clean and protect the beauty our natural resources and wildlife from litter. I am happy to assist Wounded Nature – Working Veterans in their efforts to make this planet a better place for my family”
Dr. Slovan was elected to serve a 3 year term ending in 2015.
