Jarrard, Nowell & Russell hires Austin Castro-Perry as a staff accountant

Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC (JNR), a Charleston-based accounting and business advisory firm, has added Austin Castro-Perry as a staff accountant.

Mr. Perry relocated from Southern California to Ladson, South Carolina in August of 2020, and he will complete his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Charleston Southern University in 2021. In this new role, Austin focuses on filing client’s returns and ensuring utmost accuracy in the information reported. He also completes various bookkeeping duties that include formulating balance sheets, reconciling bank statements, and compiling payroll reports. Mr. Perry also assists JNR’s audit department by sending account confirmation forms to clients.

Austin was very active with Grace Community Church in Santa Ana, CA where he helped their homeless ministry every Sunday morning. Austin has a lifetime membership in Sigma Beta Delta National Business Honors Society and, he has a lifetime membership in Alpha Chi National Honors Society.
