Jason Moon joins Wild Dunes Resort leadership team as Director of Hotel Facilities

Wild Dunes Resort, a Destination by Hyatt property, announced the appointment of Jason Moon as Director of Hotel Facilities. In this role, Moon will oversee the resort’s Engineering and Loss Prevention departments, providing strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure the continued excellence, safety and efficiency of the resort’s facilities.

Moon joins Wild Dunes Resort with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in resort and hospitality facilities management. Most recently, he served as Director of Facilities at Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he led maintenance, security, and grounds operations across the 600-acre property for the past 14 years. During his tenure, he led major renovation and construction initiatives, implemented successful utility and energy-management cost-saving programs, and oversaw the development of new resort assets. His background also includes leadership positions with premier hospitality organizations such as The Governor Hotel & Avalon Hotel & Spa, Shore Lodge & Whitetail Club, and Marriott Vacation Club properties in Hilton Head and Vail.
Known for his collaborative approach and passion for team development, Moon brings deep expertise in facilities operations, preventative maintenance, capital planning and the management of complex resort environments.
