JBW Farms Homestead transitions to online ordering with scheduled pickup and delivery

September 29, 2026

JBW Farms Homestead is transitioning to online ordering with scheduled farm pickup and local delivery, a move designed to give customers more flexibility in how they shop for the farm’s locally raised products.

The Watkins family, which owns and operates the farm, announced the change as a response to customer feedback. According to the family, one of the most common requests from customers has been more flexibility and more options for picking up and receiving orders.

Under the new weekly schedule, local delivery will be available on Wednesdays, and farm pickup will be offered on Mondays and Fridays. Customers who need to arrange a pickup or delivery outside those days are encouraged to call or email the farm, and the family said it will work to accommodate other arrangements when possible.

The ordering process is straightforward. Customers browse available products through the farm’s online store, place an order and choose either pickup or delivery at checkout.

As part of the transition, the on-site market at the farm will now operate as a pickup-only location and will no longer be staffed during regular daily hours. Customers are asked to place orders in advance and schedule a pickup time before driving out to the farm so staff can have orders ready.

“We are so grateful for every order, every visit to the farm and every family who has recommended us to a friend,” the Watkins family said. “The way people shop with us is changing a little, but our commitment is not. We are still dedicated to raising high-quality, local food that families can feel good about serving at their tables.”

The family also thanked customers for their continued support of the farm, the family and local agriculture.
