JDPR announces three new Summer 2026 EMAP interns and the return of former cohort member
August 5, 2026
Leading strategic marketing-communications agency JDPR welcomed their newest cohort of Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP) interns to the team, as well as extend a warm welcome back to a former EMAP intern now joining as a full-fledged team member. Hunter Coleman, Isabella Delacruz and Sara Beth Harbin are the latest to join this accomplished program, which for the past 25 years has provided students and recent graduates with a unique real-world experience. Geovana Saraiva returns to JDPR ready to take on her new role, already familiar with the agency from her time as an EMAP intern.
The EMAP internship is designed to give young professionals hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. From attending client meetings to contributing to account deliverables, JDPR’s interns gain valuable, practical skills that prepare them for their careers and help them stand out in a competitive job market.
Coleman is entering his senior year at Clemson University, where he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in financial management. Coleman brings a broad set of technical skills as well as experience with market research, analytics, and customer experience. This past fall, Coleman became involved in two marketing research campaigns at Clemson, giving him a strong foundation in measuring customer engagement and response. By putting these skills into practice at JDPR, Coleman has already proven to be an invaluable asset for the
agency’s lifestyle, golf and healthcare clients.
Delacruz comes to JDPR as a rising junior, also from Clemson University, where she is completing her degree in management with a minor in brand communication. Delacruz brings a diverse background of active academic and community involvement, coming to JDPR fresh from an internship with the Events, Visits and Orientation Department at Clemson University Visitor Center. During her tenure, Delacruz honed her management skills, taking responsibility for campuswide events welcoming new Clemson students. Her experience and understanding of the importance of client management make her a great addition to the team as she collaborates on JDPR’s lifestyle and OPE accounts.
Harbin is a rising junior at Furman University, where she aims to earn her bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies with minors in visual strategies and journalism. Harbin comes
to the JDPR team with a diverse background in marketing, social media, and event planning. She gained valuable experience at her former internship at South Wind Ranch, where she developed skills in web design, advertising and events. Harbin has proven to be a strong resource to the team, especially with JDPR’s technology, outdoor power equipment and lifestyle clients.
In addition to the three summer interns, JDPR is proud to welcome EMAP alumna Geovana Saraiva back to the team. Saraiva joined the agency as a Summer 2025 intern after building more than a decade of mar-comm experience in Brazil, her home country. After receiving her master’s degree in communication from Clemson University this spring, Saraiva returned to JDPR as an executive management assistant. She now supports a diverse portfolio of clients, assisting with media relations, tracking, reporting and strategic planning. Her fresh perspective and wide range of experiences make her a valuable team member.
“Our EMAP program has been a vital part of our agency for many years. We’re proud that EMAP’s reputation allows us to continually recruit the highest quality applicants from leading colleges near and far; Hunter, Isabella and Sara Beth are no exception,” said Matt Lochel, president and CEO of JDPR. “And Geovana’s return to JDPR, now as a full-time employee, following her recent EMAP internship, is proof positive of the program’s success in preparing tomorrow’s marketing communications professionals for promising futures, whether at JDPR or at the many companies where EMAP alums work and lead.”
JDPR is now accepting EMAP applications for fall 2026. Interested college students or recent graduates in the field of communication, marketing or related studies should send their resume and cover letter to Isabel Matos at [email protected] or apply at www.jdpr.com.
