Great value trumps low prices

Greater value is what all of us want.
Just getting the lowest price isn’t always best.
You usually get what you pay for.
Less quality at lower prices.
It’s often better to buy new than used.
But always shop around for price and quality.
Especially it if it’s for high-priced items.
It takes courage to opt for the higher price.
But in the end, you’re using your common sense.

Here’s a story that illustrates the point.
We needed a new roof on our office building.
We called friends for names of reliable roofers.
We asked the top three to make proposals.
All three proposals were within $500 of each other.
We did not hire the contractor with the lowest price.
The other two quoted 30-year shingles.
The winner offered 40-year shingles.
His price was a little higher but with greater value.

We needed to replace flooring in a room.
We asked the contractor for a proposal.
He found a money-saving deal on wood flooring.
He saved us several hundred dollars on material.
Now he will get even more work with us.
He used common sense in his proposals.
He did not cut his labor prices to get the work.
We know his labor costs rise with inflation.
But he treated our money as if it was his own.

We offer seminars for small business owners.
These are designed to help them triple their incomes.
Nowhere else in South Carolina is this available.
They discover how to reap great ROI on advertising.
They learn to attract Dream Clients with marketing.
They learn to become media darlings with publicity.
Like 40-year shingles, these are expensive seminars.
But the result is greater profit and income.
We give great value at the best possible investment.
We teach field-tested strategies only.
These work for us. They will work for you.

Our next seminar is Sept. 27 in West Columbia.
