Jessica Smoake Joins Palmetto Health Foundation

COLUMBIA, SC – Palmetto Health Foundation is pleased to announce Jessica Smoake has been named Development Coordinator for Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital at the Foundation.

Smoake was most recently Marketing coordinator at Lexington Medical Center, where she spent four years developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the hospital and physician practices. She also managed projects for the first Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers South Carolina 5K Run & Walk in 2013 and for the hospital’s annual breast cancer awareness event, Women’s Night Out. Smoake also previously worked as a Radiology customer service specialist for two years.

Smoake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Lander University, from which she graduated cum laude in 2008. In 2010, she served as the SCMGMA “Taste of the Midlands” Silent Auction Chair.

In her role at Palmetto Health Foundation, Smoake will assist with two of the Foundation’s signature fundraising events, Festival of Trees and KEMOPALOOZA. She also will coordinate other fundraising initiatives for Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and CAMP KEMO Programs.
