JetBlue Airways and United Airlines have launched a new partnership called “Blue Sky,” aimed at delivering an enhanced experience for travelers through shared loyalty benefits, expanded airport access, and streamlined booking tools. Key Features of the Partnership

  • Shared Loyalty Perks
    JetBlue’s TrueBlue and United’s MileagePlus members will now be able to earn and redeem points on both carriers. Elite members will also enjoy reciprocal benefits such as priority boarding, preferred seating, and same-day flight changes when flying with either airline.

  • Simplified Booking Access
    Travelers will be able to book flights from both airlines on either carrier’s website and mobile app, offering a seamless user experience.

  • Expanded Service at Key Airports
    United will return to New York’s JFK International Airport in 2027 with up to seven daily round-trip flights using JetBlue’s available slots. In return, JetBlue will gain expanded access to Newark Liberty International Airport, reinforcing its footprint in the competitive New York market.

    United will utilize JetBlue’s Paisly platform to offer customers a one-stop shop for hotels, rental cars, and vacation packages alongside flight bookings.
