Martha Franks Retirement Community is accepting applications for the position of
FULL TIME CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER.
MUST have Dietary Manager Certification
High School graduate or equivalent
Two years of Supervisory experience in Food Service operations
One year experience hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, daily operations, discipline and counseling.
Maintain Certification per requirements from local, state and federal agencies
Ability to interpret and explain menus, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of DHEC Dietary regulations preferred
Serve Safe certified preferred
Basic computer skills and knowledge
Assure training and education is provided to dietary team members
Develop work assignments for Dietary Team members and spot check work to ensure standards are met
Ensure equipment is maintained and work areas are clean, safe and orderly.
Strict adherence to Infection Control procedures, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety and sanitation; promptly addressing any noncompliance
Assists with interviewing, hiring and orienting new staff
Assists with food supply orders, ensure food costs are within budgetary limits
Communicate and enforce policies and procedures including the employer’s code of conduct, safety and sanitation policy.
Directly discipline and recommend corrective action to enforce said policies.
Perform job duties for residents and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
Participate in Community and individual resident menus as ordered by the primary care provider.
