By transforming classroom instruction during the earliest school years, we help children become strong readers—without relying on outside tutoring—and move closer to a future where every child in South Carolina reads proficiently by the end of elementary school.

The Lowcountry Literacy Project (LLP) is seeking a highly organized, systems-minded professional to build and manage the operational backbone that supports our growing organization.

This role is designed for a systems thinker and builder—someone who creates structure, builds efficient systems, and leverages automation to help a mission-driven organization scale with clarity and excellence.

Working closely with the Executive Director and the Director of Training, this role will ensure that LLP’s programs run smoothly, systems are aligned, and leadership is freed to focus on strategy, fundraising, and instructional quality.

*Develop and manage automations (CRM, email workflows, training tracking, reporting systems)
*Integrate platforms to ensure seamless data flow across the organization

Executive & Operational Support

*Help translate strategic priorities into actionable systems and processes

Data & Reporting
*Develop and maintain centralized systems & dashboards to track teacher, school and student data.
*Create reporting tools for internal and external stakeholders
*Improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting for funders and district partners

Human Resources
*Oversee HR functions, including onboarding and tracking employees and contractor records
*Establish systems that support a healthy, high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, clarity, and purpose
*Procure and manage organizational technology, software, and vendor relationships

Partner & Donor Stewardship
*Maintain organized systems for tracking donor engagement, grants, partnerships, and communication timelines
*Support preparation of grant reports, impact updates, and external-facing materials that communicate organizational growth and outcomes
