Blue Ridge Council CEO Greg Balog commented, “The annual Patron Dinner is our most important single night to amplify all the good created for upstate youth by the Blue Ridge Council’s Scouting, Venturing and Exploring programs. Additionally, it is a great honor each year to recognize someone whose leadership and contributions deserve our thanks. Mike Baur is a great representative of that.”

He continued, “We are thrilled that Joe Erwin has agreed to chair the event for us this year. Joe has a distinguished record of creating companies and growing organizations that cherish and promote the importance of leadership, integrity and service. From his own experience as a Boy Scout, Joe has a special appreciation for the impact scouting can have on youth and the community as a whole.”
