John T. Lay, Jr. named President-Elect of the International Association of Defense Counsel

COLUMBIA, SC – Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. announced that shareholder John T. Lay, Jr. has been named president-elect of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). The IADC is the preeminent invitation only legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests throughout the world. Lay will serve as president-elect from July 2015 until he is named president in July 2016. Lay is a member of the Board of Directors of the IADC, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ), and a Delegate of The American Civil Trial Bar Roundtable.
