Attorney Johnna Menke has joined Bluestein Thompson Sullivan, LLC.
She will practice in the area of Social Security Disability.
Johnna received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in May of this year, graduating cum laude. She was the senior articles editor for the Journal of Law and Education. She received the CALI Award for Legal Research, Analysis and Writing in spring 2018 and fall 2017. She earned her bachelor’s degree from College of Charleston in 2015.
Johnna began clerking for Bluestein Attorneys in August 2019, working in the area of Social Security disability, drafting administrative and federal court briefs for appeals and attending pre-hearing client appointments and administrative hearings. In Johnna’s prior clerkship, she worked on issues of employment, administrative, and civil rights, as well as business law.
“Johnna has made a great contribution here at the firm already,” said founding partner Margaret “Marti” Miles Bluestein. “Now that she has joined the Bar, we know she will provide invaluable representation as a member of our Social Security Disability team.”
