Join Friendship Place in serving our community through Georgetown EATS

September 10, 2026

Friendship Place is responding to the growing need for food support in our community through Georgetown EATS. The program welcomes neighbors for free meals Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at Friendship Place, 1423 Front Street.

As more neighbors join us for daily meals, we are excited to welcome additional volunteers. Whether you enjoy preparing food, serving guests, or helping a space shine after lunch, there is a meaningful role for you. Volunteers typically serve for two to four hours once per month, making it easy to contribute in a way that fits your schedule.

Ready to make a difference? Friendship Place(opens in new tab) would be delighted to welcome you to the Georgetown EATS team. To volunteer, complete the application process, or ask about ServSafe course assistance, please contact Cindy McDaniel, operations manager, at [email protected]
