Jon Asbill named Special Counsel at Baker Ravenel Bender

Jon Asbill has been named Special Counsel with Baker Ravenel Bender.

Asbill has been an associate with the firm since 2014. He practices in the areas of appellate advocacy, construction litigation, insurance coverage, products liability, premises liability, and personal injury.

“I am certainly very grateful I was offered the position,” he said. “It’s a leadership position in the firm that will allow me to further develop as a legal professional while providing quality representation to my clients.”

Asbill graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013, and was admitted to the Bar in November of that year. He had previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. While in law school, Jon was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe. He also was honored as the CALI Award winner for having the highest grade in Torts I, Products Liability and Legal Research.
