Josh Shaw Speaks at DRI Annual Meeting

COLUMBIA, SC – November 19, 2012 – Joshua D. Shaw, attorney in the Columbia office of Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A., presented during the Toxic Tort and Environmental Law Committee CLE session at the DRI Annual Meeting held in October in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Mr. Shaw focuses his practice on environmental and product liability litigation.  His presentation concerned a pending Supreme Court case Kiobel v. Royal Dutch PetroleumKiobel is a putative class action brought against several oil companies and raises a complex federal jurisdictional issue that is of particular interest to corporations with overseas operations.
