May 20, 2014

GREER, SC – May 20, 2014 – Greer State Bank announces the promotion of Joy Kamees as Commercial/Consumer Lender.

Joy has been with the bank as a loan processor/consumer lender for 17 years.

Joy will be responsible for managing and developing both a commercial and consumer loan portfolio. She will also be actively involved in calling efforts and community events in the greater Greer area.

“I am very excited that with the increase in loan demand, we are to the point of looking to hire strong lenders to help continue the Bank’s success in recent years,” says Jim Boyd, Sr. VP of Commercial Lending for Greer State Bank. “I’m even more excited we were able to fill this position with a strong internal candidate that knows our customers, our products and most of all
our culture. During Joy’s 17 years at Greer State Bank, she has proven herself as a valuable employee and a strong consumer lender. She has worked with our commercial customers for that entire time, which is what made this decision so easy.”

Joy, along with her husband Joe and daughter Cheyenne are residents of Lyman and members of Discover Church in Simpsonville.
