JR Automation Technologies expanding operations in Pickens County

Manufacturer investing $3.4 million and creating 56 new jobs in new expansion

JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a global leader in custom automation solutions, is expanding its existing operations in Pickens County. The expansion will result in the creation of 56 new jobs and a capital investment of $3.4 million.

Established in 1980 and based in Holland, Mich., JR Automation Technologies provides custom automated equipment and services to customers in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical device, pharmaceutical, food processing, construction and more. With more than 850 employees across eight locations, the company offers state-of-the-art automation solutions, integrating technologies and processes ranging from welding to laser applications to metal and plastics processing, to meet its clients’ unique needs.

To accommodate this expansion, the company will be moving into a 50,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility in Pickens County Commerce Park.
