Junior Service League of Summerville Supports STARS Prom Promise Campaign

February 13, 2013

SUMMERVILLE, SC – February 13, 2013 – The Junior Service League of Summerville recently donated $500 to help support STARS (Summerville Takes A Responsible Stand). STARS is a volunteer organization chaired by Julianne DiCicco-Wiles. They raise awareness of under aged drinking through their Not a Minor Problem program, and challenge students to commit to a drug-free, alcohol-free, prom with their Prom Promise Campaign. Prom Promise encourages students to sign and uphold a contract to be drug and alcohol free on prom night

STARS income is based solely on donations from the community and private donations. If you would like to make a donation or volunteer with STARS, or have suggestions on how to help this organization grow to better serve the community, please contact Suzanne Blanton at [email protected] or at 843-873-2210 ext 221.
