Karamu statewide Black History Parade and Festival

COLUMBIA, SC – Celebrate Black History Month at the Karamu Statewide Black History Parade and Festival, which begins with a parade at the intersection of Harden and Gervais streets. National recording artist Angie Stone will be this year’s grand marshal. The event continues at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park with the Black History Festival featuring gospel recording artist Joshua Rogers, contemporary history makers, live entertainment and more.

Corner of Harden and Gervais streets (The parade will travel south on Harden Street and end at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park.)
