Karlyn Jones of Abacus Planning Group passes Certified Financial Planner (TM) Examination

Abacus Planning Group, Inc. proudly announces that Karlyn M. Jones has passed the CFP® examination. The CFP® Certification Examination assesses the candidate’s ability to integrate and apply a broad base of financial planning knowledge in the context of real-life financial planning situations. The exam content requires the use of critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Ms. Jones has now completed the education and examination portions and has only to complete her experience requirement before earning her CFP® marks.

Ms. Jones graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with a B.S in Finance. Prior to her joining Abacus in 2021, Karlyn was active in her student chapter of the Financial Planning Association. As a member of the financial planning team, Karlyn works closely with senior advisors in the Abacus team to support their work on behalf of clients.
