Kathy Carrier awarded Realtor Emeritus status

At the November, 2015 annual meeting of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in San Diego, CA, local Realtor® Kathy Carrier was awarded REALTOR® Emeritus status.

According to the Association, any person who has held membership in NAR as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-Associate®, or a combination of both, for a cumulative period of 40 years in one or more associations of REALTORS® is eligible for REALTOR® Emeritus status.

Carrier, who works in the Mt. Pleasant Longpoint Road office of Carolina One Real Estate is a graduate of Columbia College and has been a successful REALTOR® since 1975. In 2013, Carrier was honored by Carolina One Real Estate as a recipient of the company’s Lifetime Achievement Award. To qualify for this prestigious and exceptional accomplishment, an Associate must have closed 500 homes or generated $100 million in closed volume within the Greater Charleston MLS area.

A native Charlestonian, Carrier has lived in Mt. Pleasant since 1973. A Life Member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® Realtor® Round Table, Carrier is also a member of the East Cooper Top Producers Club. Carrier has been active in local schools, in the community and at her church. She’s currently serving as a “Reading Buddy” at Jennie Moore Elementary School as well as serving on numerous committees at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. The mother of two children, Carrier is a member of the Mayflower Society as well as the Huguenot Society.
