Kevin Kisner highlights the latest commitments by Clemson, UGA, and Wofford graduates

Lucas Glover, Chris Kirk, Kevin Kisner, Ben Martin, William McGirt, Hudson Swafford and Brendon Todd are all competing in the 48th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event is taking place April 11-17, 2016 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.

Stewart Cink, Jason Day, Ernie Els, Bill Haas, Matt Kuchar, Davis Love III, Graeme McDowell, Brandt Snedeker and Boo Weekley, are also slated to compete over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.

Glover was born in Greenville, South Carolina and played golf at Clemson University.  He now lives on St. Simons Island, Georgia.  He has earned three wins on the PGA TOUR, including the 2009 US Open Championship.  He will be competing in his 14th RBC Heritage.

Kirk earned his fourth win on the PGA TOUR last season at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. That win helped him earn a spot on the President’s Cup team. The University of Georgia graduate and Sea Island resident will be competing at Harbour Town for the sixth consecutive year.

Kisner sits in the second spot on the FedExCup points standings after winning his first PGA TOUR event at this year’s RSM Classic .  The Aiken, South Carolina native has also earned three more Top Ten finishes this season. The University of Georgia grad finished second at last year’s RBC Heritage after losing to Jim Furyk on the first playoff hole.

Martin was born in Greenwood, South Carolina and still calls it home.  He graduated from Clemson University in 2009 and earned his first PGA TOUR win at last year’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.  He will be making his fourth start at Harbour Town.

McGirt was born in Lumberton, North Carolina and played golf for Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  He has earned three top ten finishes on TOUR this season. He will be making his sixth start at the Harbour Town Golf Links.

Swafford was born in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011. He has carded four Top Ten finishes during his time on the PGA TOUR.  He will be competing in the RBC Heritage for the second time.

Todd earned his first PGA TOUR victory at the 2014 Byron Nelson Championship.  The University of Georgia graduate has already carded two top-ten finishes this season.  He will be making his third start at the RBC Heritage.
