Kiawah River announces three new hires

Kiawah River, a waterfront community on Johns Island and the Charleston region’s first agrihood, announced today the addition of three new team members.

Brittany Bestich has been hired as a sales assistant at Kiawah River. In her role, Bestich will act as liaison between closing coordinators, marketing team members, real estate agents, builders and homebuyers. Additionally, Bestich will assist real estate agents in overseeing the on-site Kiawah River sales office and promoting the community to potential homebuyers. Bestich earned her Bachelor of Science in tourism and event management from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis and a Master of Science in higher education administration from Florida International University. Originally from Hebron, Ind., Bestich brings relevant industry knowledge to the position, having previously served as a sales support administrator at Coldwell Banker Realty, among other roles.

Kiawah River has also hired Amy Everett as the manager of The Spring House, Kiawah River’s waterfront recreation center and first major residential amenity. In her role, Everett will oversee all Spring House operations including food and beverage, pool management and fitness when The Spring House opens to residents later this summer. Originally from Maryville, Tenn., Everett earned a degree in hotel restaurant administration from the University of Tennessee. Everett brings valuable experience to The Spring House, having previously served a number of roles at the Kiawah Island Club, including Cassique Clubhouse manager, events director and River Course and Beach Club manager.

Dean Haeusser will serve as a sales executive for Kiawah River’s residential offerings. Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Haeusser brings extensive experience to the role having worked in sales for 33 years, previously as a real estate sales executive at Reynolds Plantation and Kiawah Island Real Estate and a sales representative at PING Golf Equipment. Haeusser holds Missouri and South Carolina real estate broker’s licenses.
