Kids Summer Movie Series returns to The Nick for its third year with eight weeks of handpicked classics and a toy drive

April 29, 2026

The Nickelodeon Theater announced Camp Cinema, the theme of its third annual Kids Summer Movie Series, running June 3 through July 25. Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, families are invited to settle in for a handpicked lineup of animated and live-action classics the whole family will love, all at a price that makes it easy to come back week after week.

As part of Camp Cinema, The Nick will be collecting new toys and stuffed animals in the lobby all summer long to benefit Curing Kids Cancer. Families can drop off a new, unwrapped toy or stuffed animal at the collection box on their way in, all donated items will go directly to children in treatment.

Now in its third year, the Kids Summer Movie Series has become a beloved summer tradition for families throughout the community. This year’s Camp Cinema theme brings together eight weeks of curated programming. The series features celebrated titles including Matilda, Paddington, Ernest & Celestine, The Muppet Movie, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and many more.

Two screenings are offered each day, one at 10:00 AM and one at 10:30 AM, so families with children of different ages and attention spans can find a film that works for them. Films were selected not only for their entertainment value, but for their artistic quality, cultural range, and the kinds of stories they tell.

Tickets are $7 per person. Families can also take advantage of the concessions deal: a small popcorn, candy, and a small drink for just $8, making the full experience $15 per person. It’s an affordable morning out that the whole family can enjoy without breaking the budget.
