Kids Teeth launches annual calendar contest featuring patients’ drawings

September 19, 2016

Mount Pleasant pediatric dental office Kids Teeth is asking its patients for help creating a 2017 calendar. Current Kids Teeth patients are invited to submit an original drawing for consideration in the annual calendar.

The contest runs Oct. 3 to Nov. 4 and the winning entries will be featured in the calendar.

How to enter:

  • Children should draw a picture of their visit to the dentist on an 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper (landscape). Include lots of fun details and colors.
  • Drop the original drawing off at one of the two Mount Pleasant offices (1073 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. and at 1130 Professional Lane in Park West) by Nov. 4.
  • Include full name, age, phone and an email address on the back of the drawing. If possible, the staff will snap a quick photo of the child with the artwork.

The Kids Teeth staff will narrow the drawings down to 36 finalists, which will be displayed on the Kids Teeth Facebook page (facebook.com/kidsteethsc) and open to public voting from Nov. 7-11. The 14 artists (12 months plus the front and back cover) with the most votes will be featured in the 2017 calendar and win a $25 gift certificate to Wonder Works, a Kids Teeth T-shirt and a copy of the calendar.

Eight honorable mention winners will be featured on the inside cover and win a Kids Teeth T-shirt and a copy of the calendar. All artists’ entries will be hung in the Kids Teeth offices during the month of January.

Calendars are available for free at the Kids Teeth offices throughout the year.
