Kingman Airline Services establishing operations in Horry County

Maintenance, repair and overhaul company investing more than $2.5 million to create approximately 180 new jobs

Kingman Airline Services, an Arizona-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, today announced plans to establish operations in Horry County. The company will hire approximately 180 employees, and make a capital investment of $2.5 million.

Kingman Airline Services is a Federal Aviation Authority-approved Part 145 repair station, in addition to a large aircraft storage and preservation facility, offering various levels of maintenance for Embraer, Bombadier CRJ, SAAB and Boeing aircraft.

To establish operations in Horry County, the company will lease an existing facility and ramp space, located at the Myrtle Beach International Airport for maintenance and aircraft services including: long and short-term commercial aircraft storage; fleet management; aircraft repair and maintenance; engine removals and installation; airframe dissemble and dismantling; records audits; interior refurbishment; pre-buy inspections; consulting services; and, ferry services.

Kingman Airline Services will hire airframe and powerplant technicians; operators and craftsman; along with managerial, professional and service positions. Those looking to apply should visit the company’s careers page online.
