K&L Gates’ Charleston office welcomes new associates

K&L Gates’ Charleston office is pleased to welcome three new associates to the firm.
Ms. Cecilia Ehresman joins the Charleston office as an associate in the firm’s Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice group.
Ms. Ehresman previously worked as an associate in the New York office of a top 100 U.S. law firm. She litigated employment disputes in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, and counseled clients on myriad employment matters involving a diverse range of industries across the nation. Ms. Ehresman received her BA (summa cum laude) from The Catholic University of America and her JD (cum laude) from St. John’s University School of Law.
Mr. Christian Kolic joins the Charleston office as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate practice group.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Kolic was an associate in the real estate group of a global law firm in New York. He represented REITs on acquisitions and dispositions and lenders on construction loan financings. Mr. Kolic received his BSBA (magna cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh and his JD from Cornell School of Law.
Ms. Melissa Yates joins the Charleston office as an associate in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation and Disputes practice group.
Ms. Yates was previously an associate at a regional civil litigation law firm, where she worked on cases involving general liability, professional liability, construction litigation, and insurance coverage. She received her BA (summa cum laude) from Wake Forest University and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
