Koko FitClub now open at Sweetgrass Corner

On Wednesday, Jan. 25, Koko FitClub opened its Mt. Pleasant club in the Sweetgrass Corner shopping center next to Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre on the corner of Hwy. 17N and the IOP Connector. This club, owned and operated by Mark and Jennifer McMahon, is the company’s second to open in South Carolina. The first club location opened in December in the Cigar Factory on East Bay Street downtown.
Established in 2007, Koko FitClub is a non-traditional gym experience that uses digital technology and the latest research in exercise science to develop workout routines personalized to each member. Individuals work with a certified Koko FitCoach to establish fitness goals and assess current fitness levels upon joining. Then each member receives a customized strength, cardio and nutrition program that changes dynamically as they progress. All data, including progress over time, from Koko’s efficient 45-minute workouts are tracked and can be viewed online from any device. At Koko FitClub, members are never alone, always working with either a certified Koko FitCoach or under the guidance of Koko’s patented digital coaching platform. This ensures that every individual always knows what to do in the gym to get the best results and reach ever-evolving fitness goals.

Those who join Koko FitClub will have full access to both the Sweetgrass Corner gym, as well as the Cigar Factory gym. The Mt. Pleasant club is located at 1909 Hwy. 17N, Suite P210 near Towne Centre. The downtown club is located at 701 East Bay Street, Suite 103. Sherry Harrill serves as the on-site manager for the Mt. Pleasant club. The location will be staffed from 6:30AM to 7:30PM Monday through Friday, 8AM to 2PM on Saturdays, and 10AM to 2PM on Sundays. Members can access the club outside of staffed hours beginning at 5AM until midnight every day.
