Kristina Harvey joins Stantec’s Landscape Architecture practice

Leading global design firm Stantec has hired Kristina Harvey as a Landscape Architect in the firm’s Charleston office. In her role, she is responsible for conducting preliminary site studies and creating design documents, together with conceptual and final landscape designs, renderings, cost estimates, scope of work specifications, and other construction documents.

Harvey brings over 15 years of professional experience, most recently at a local civil engineering firm in South Carolina. She holds LEED AP and Sustainable SITES AP credentials and has a strong interest in multidisciplinary, LEED and SITES-track projects, as well as coastal waterfront design, adaptive reuse, and urban infill development. Her recent projects prior to joining Stantec include: the Volvo Office Campus in Ridgeville, SC; the Bees Ferry West Ashley Library in Charleston, SC; and the University of South Carolina Beaufort Hospitality Management Facility in Hilton Head Island, SC.

She is a graduate of Emory University, with a bachelor’s degree in biology, as well as a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, with a master’s degree in landscape architecture. Harvey currently serves as the South Carolina chapter president of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Lowcountry Branch.
