Laurens 55 Announces Return of Summer Feeding Program

Summer Feeding is coming soon to a school near you! Beat the summer heat with a refreshing and FREE summer meal for any child in your household or care, 18 years and younger. Laurens 55 is proud to bring back its popular summer feeding program again this summer at various locations across the district.
This program ensures that no child in the community goes hungry during the summer months. Importantly, children do not have to attend the school where meals are picked up or consumed, making it accessible for all.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to check the details listed under each meal site for specific dates and instructions to receive meals. In observance of Juneteenth, the district will provide children with five non-perishable meals on June 19, and meal services will resume on June 24. Information regarding July’s summer feeding locations and schedule will be announced at a later date.
