July 19, 2023

Laurens County Academy of Music (LCAM) offers music lessons to the Laurens County community through the Music Department at Presbyterian College.

LCAM has about 50 students ranging in age from 5 to 80. The average age is 11 to 12.

Lessons are offered on the following: voice, piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, bagpipes, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trombone, and tuba.

Music lessons are fun and are beneficial to people of all ages – from helping develop the mental and physical development of children to preventing cognitive decline in senior citizens.

LCAM offers very affordable music lessons from highly qualified music faculty from the Music Department of Presbyterian College. Each semester ends with a two-day gala public performance of all LCAM students in Edmunds Hall on the PC campus.
