Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Adds Two to the Team

The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce recently added two new members to their team.

“We have an amazing Chamber team; the new additions are roles we have needed for a very long time.  I am thankful to have the opportunity to grow the Chamber, the expansion of the team will allow us to achieve our strategic initiatives,” said Amanda Munyan, President, and CEO of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce.

Cora Lewis

Cora Lewis joined the Chamber on September 6th as our Administrative Assistant. She is a recent graduate from Clinton High School with plans to study accounting at Piedmont Technical College in the Spring. As a part time assistant, Lewis will focus on membership support, event planning, marketing, communications, and general office support. She will be working with the Chamber staff to improve the overall capacity and fulfil the needs of Laurens County.

“Our Administrative Assistant, Cora, is serving as an aid in multiple areas, while continuing her education locally. She is intelligent, friendly, and has a very bright future.  We are lucky to have found Christian and Cora and I can’t wait to watch the progress and growth of this important organization for Laurens County,” said Munyan.

Christian Taylor

Christian Taylor joined the Chamber on October 10 as the Tourism Marketing Manager. Taylor is a Furman graduate with a background in graphic design, branding, and education. As the Tourism Marketing Manager Taylor is responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive program of tourism development and promotion for Laurens County. Her primary responsibility is to grow tourism-related revenues in Laurens County through the effective use of strategic planning, community asset enhancement, industry promotion, relationship building, and evolving tourism practices.

“Our Tourism Marketing Manager, Christian, is very creative, driven, and overall talented, I have no doubt she will do a great job developing and implementing promotional plans for our beautiful County,” said Munyan. “I have big plans for the entire Chamber team as we continue connecting organizations, supporting businesses, and building our community.”
