Laurens County Chorale Invites Community to Inaugural ‘Sip & Sing’ Event

The Laurens County Chorale will host its inaugural “Sip & Sing” event Aug. 17 at the Laurens County Museum, offering area residents a relaxed introduction to the group and the chance to learn more about joining.
The gathering will begin at 7 p.m. at the museum, located at 116 S. Public Square in Laurens. Attendees are invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment while savoring their favorite summer beverages and connecting with others who share an interest in singing.
Organizers describe the event as an opportunity for community members to discover the joy of singing together and to explore what participation in the chorale involves. No experience or prior commitment is required to attend.
The chorale’s first rehearsal is scheduled for Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1387 Highway 56 S. in Clinton. Those interested in the group are encouraged to mark their calendars.
