Laurens County Community Theatre Sets Auditions for “The Addams Family”

Laurens County Community Theatre will hold auditions Aug. 2 and Aug. 3 for “The Addams Family,” the opening production of its 2026-27 season.
Valerie Jones will direct the musical comedy, which brings the famously eccentric Addams clan to the stage.
Auditions are scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at the Clinton High School Auditorium, 18132 S.C. 72 in Clinton.
Roles are available for performers ages 13 and older. Those auditioning should prepare a cold reading from the script and 16 measures of a show tune. Performers who plan to sing from sheet music should bring recorded accompaniment or an accompanist.
Video auditions also will be accepted. Submissions may be made at LCCT.net through Aug. 3.
Music and choreography rehearsals are set to begin the second week of August. Performances are scheduled for Oct. 16 through Oct. 24.
