April 26, 2026The Laurens County Fair Foundation (LCFF) awarded $106,503 in grants to 17 local nonprofit organizations on April 16, 2026, continuing its longstanding tradition of reinvesting in the community it serves.
This year’s funding cycle drew 25 applications totaling $234,033.82 in requested funding, reflecting the wide range of needs across Laurens County. Applications highlighted ongoing challenges in education, food insecurity, health care and poverty alleviation.
“We are honored to support the organizations that are doing the hard work every day in Laurens County,” said [LCFF spokesperson]. “These grants are a direct reflection of our community’s commitment to taking care of its own.”
The LCFF carries forward the legacy of two organizations with deep roots in the county — the Laurens County Fair Association (LCFA), incorporated on Aug. 30, 1938, and the Laurens Exchange Club. Both organizations built a strong foundation of support for agriculture and charitable causes over the decades, backing initiatives such as local 4-H clubs, Dixie Youth Baseball and The Judge Calvin Bridges Children’s Home.
