Laurens County Land Use/Zoning Task Force Invites Community Input at April 29 Meeting
April 27, 2025The Laurens County Land Use/Zoning Task Force is inviting residents to be part of the important conversation about the future growth and development of Laurens County. A community meeting for County Council District 2 will be held on Tuesday, April 29, at 6:00 PM at Hickory Tavern School, located at 163 Neely Ferry Road, Gray Court, SC 29645.
While this meeting focuses on District 2, all residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Similar meetings will be held across other districts in the coming months, providing opportunities for citizens throughout the county to share their thoughts and priorities for their local communities.
The mission of the Land Use/Zoning Task Force is to gather input directly from the people who call Laurens County home—to understand what residents value, what they envision for their communities, and how they would like to see growth and development shaped for the future.
“We want to hear from you,” said Casey Robinson, Task Force contact. “This is your chance to help identify the types of development, land use, and characteristics that best reflect your community’s needs and identity.”
