Laurens County Land Use & Zoning Task Force to Host Public Input Meeting on June 12

Residents of Laurens County are encouraged to attend a public input meeting on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Ford Elementary School (601 Lucas Avenue, Laurens, SC 29360), hosted by the Laurens County Land Use and Zoning Task Force.
This meeting is open to all citizens of Laurens County and offers an important opportunity to help shape the county’s future. Participants will have the chance to provide feedback and share their vision for how Laurens County should grow and develop in the years ahead.
The task force is seeking public input to help identify growth priorities and land use goals, including potential zoning districts and development patterns that reflect the needs and values of local residents.
Community engagement is a key part of this process, and feedback gathered at the meeting will help guide future land use recommendations to County Council.
