Laurens County Libraries Kick Off “Knights of the Reading Round Table” Summer Program June 9

Let the reading quests begin! The 2025 Summer Reading Program at the Laurens County Public Library System is launching with a festive, medieval-themed celebration on Monday, June 9, and families across the county are invited to take part in the fun.

Summer Reading Kickoff Details:

• Laurens Library (1017 W. Main St., Laurens)
  🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Skye’s Cloud Shaved Ice

  • Big Air Trampoline Park booth

  • Crafts, games, and sweet treats

• Clinton Library (107 Jacobs Hwy, Clinton)
  🕑 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Snacks, games, and fun activities

  • Special visit from the Laurens County Polar Patrol from 2:00–3:00 PM

Themed “Knights of the Reading Round Table,” this year’s program invites children and families to journey through a summer of stories, adventures, and imagination—with a touch of Renaissance flair.
