Laurens County Library System Director Announces Retirement

At the September 8th meeting of County Council, Laurens County Library System Director, Ann Szypulski, announced her retirement from the position and submitted the job description for refilling the position.
Szypulski is retiring at the end of the year after 12 years in the position. The job description she presented to County Council was approved as was the salary recommendation from the Library System Board of Trustees. The salary range is $64,000 – $71,000.
The hiring process will be handled by the Library System Board of Trustees with assistance from Casey Bolton, Laurens County Human Resources Director.
