Laurens County Planning Commission to Host Workshop on Comprehensive Plan

The Laurens County Planning Commission is set to convene a workshop on Tuesday, March 12, at 6:00 pm at the Ridge in Laurens, focusing on the county’s Comprehensive Plan. The meeting aims to engage various stakeholders, including schools, utilities, and municipalities, in a collaborative effort to shape the future of Laurens County.

Bobby Smith, Chairman of the Laurens County Planning Commission, expressed the inclusive nature of the event, stating, “We have invited all stakeholders within the county to participate. This meeting is open to the public to provide transparency and to give everyone an opportunity to participate in long-range planning for our county.”
