Laurens County Republican Party to Hold ReOrg Meeting Thursday March 2

February 26, 2023

Every two years, each county Republican Party in South Carolina goes through a process known as ReOrg. The Laurens County Republican Party will reconvene for ReOrg this Thursday, March 2nd at 6:30 pm, at the Laurens County Museum (116 E Public Square, Laurens).

At the meeting participants will gather by precinct to elect a Precinct President, Precinct Executive Committeeman, and delegates to the county Convention which will be held on April 1st at the Ridge in Laurens.

Under the leadership of Chairman, Luke Rankin and Executive Committeeman Rick Shealy, the Laurens County Republican party has accomplished much in the past two years.

“We have seen tremendous success supporting conservative candidates, working with the County delegation to support prolife legislation, growing our young Republicans, and helping to elect Ellen Weaver as the Superintendent of Education for South Carolina,” said Chairman Luke Rankin. “We welcome all Republicans to join us on Thursday and be a part of the process.”

South Carolina is “First in the South” and plans are already underway to bring many of the top Republican Presidential Candidates to Laurens County.
