Laurens County School District 56 Unveils New Conference Center

Last week, Laurens County School District 56 (LCSD56) officially opened its new conference center, located in the renovated American Legion Building. The inaugural meeting to be held in the space was the LCSD56 Board meeting which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

The District 56 is excited about the conference center, which will be used for board meetings, teacher training, and departmental meetings. State department meetings are already scheduled to take place in the facility, reflecting its broader appeal.

The modernized space is expected to enhance communication and collaboration within the district. It will serve as a central hub for various educational activities.
